Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information Voxet collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written this in plain language — no legalese traps.
When you create a Voxet account or subscribe to a paid plan, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment processing is handled entirely by our third-party payment processor — we never store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details on our servers.
We collect anonymous, aggregated usage telemetry to improve Voxet — such as which tools are used most frequently, crash reports, and hardware tier distribution. This data is never tied to your identity. You can opt out of telemetry entirely in Settings > Privacy.
Your voxel projects, assets, and files are stored locally on your device. When using multiplayer features, voxel data is transmitted between session participants via encrypted QUIC connections. We do not access, store, or analyze the contents of your projects on our servers.
We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain Voxet and your account; process subscriptions and payments; send critical product updates and security notices; improve performance and fix bugs via anonymous telemetry; respond to your support requests and inquiries. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
We share limited data with trusted third-party services that help us operate — payment processing, email delivery, and infrastructure hosting. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. We will notify you of such requests when legally permitted.
During multiplayer editing sessions, your display name and cursor position are visible to other participants. Voxel data is transmitted peer-to-peer between session members. No project data passes through or is stored on our servers.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. All network communications use TLS 1.3 encryption. Multiplayer sessions use QUIC with built-in encryption. Account passwords are hashed using bcrypt with per-user salts. We conduct regular security audits and maintain an active vulnerability disclosure program.
You have the right to: access all personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate personal information; request deletion of your account and associated data; export your data in a portable format; opt out of telemetry and non-essential communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] or through your account settings.
The Voxet website uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. The desktop application uses local storage for preferences, cached shaders, and project data — all stored exclusively on your device.
Voxet is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice within the application. Continued use of Voxet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions about this privacy policy or our data practices, contact us at [email protected].
