These terms govern your use of Voxet, including the desktop application, multiplayer services, and any associated hosted infrastructure. Plain language wherever possible — we want you to actually read this.
By downloading, installing, or using Voxet ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Voxet is proprietary software developed by Nightforge Studios. The free tier grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for personal and commercial purposes. You may not modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Software. Paid subscription features (Pro and Team tiers) are licensed to you on a per-seat, subscription basis for the duration of your active subscription. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by Nightforge Studios.
Some features require a Voxet account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time — your access continues through the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.
You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent licensing mechanisms for paid features; use Voxet to generate, store, or distribute content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes on third-party rights; attempt to disrupt multiplayer sessions, servers, or other users' experience; misrepresent your identity or impersonate others in multiplayer sessions; use automated systems to abuse free-tier resources or hosted infrastructure.
You retain full ownership of all voxel models, assets, animations, and other content you create with Voxet. We claim no rights over your work. Content shared via multiplayer sessions is transmitted directly between participants and is not stored on our servers. If you upload content to any future Voxet marketplace or sharing platform, you grant us a limited license to display, distribute, and promote that content within the platform — you can revoke this by removing your content.
The Voxet name, logo, branding, and all source code are the exclusive intellectual property of Nightforge Studios. The Software is protected by copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use the Voxet trademarks to endorse or promote products without written permission. Third-party libraries and dependencies included in the Software retain their respective licenses.
Multiplayer editing sessions connect participants over QUIC protocol with end-to-end encryption. You are responsible for the content you share during multiplayer sessions. We reserve the right to terminate multiplayer access for users who violate these terms or disrupt sessions for others. Multiplayer features require a Pro or Team subscription.
Voxet is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use the Software at your own risk. This disclaimer applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Voxet, its contributors, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Software, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may stop using Voxet and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where possible. Upon termination, your right to use all tiers of the Software ceases, and you must uninstall and destroy all copies. We will make your data available for export for 30 days after account termination.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Voxet shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
